Services are adapted to resident comfort, positioning, communication needs, mobility, fragile skin, sensory preferences, and tolerance. Availability remains subject to screening, consent, technician judgment, facility requirements, and applicable law.

Essential hand and nail maintenance, which may include nail trimming and shaping, conservative cuticle care, moisturizing, and a natural or polished finish. Best suited for residents seeking dependable routine maintenance and comfort-focused care.
An enhanced manicure with additional service time for gentle nail maintenance, hydration, comfort-focused massage when appropriate, and closer observation of the nails and surrounding skin.
Essential foot-nail maintenance using conservative techniques within the North Carolina manicurist scope. May include nail trimming and shaping, conservative cuticle care, moisturizing, and polish when appropriate.
An enhanced foot-care service with additional time for careful nail maintenance, hydration, comfort measures, and observation of the nails and surrounding skin.
CNW’s signature detailed pedicure is performed without a traditional water soak. The dry-technique format supports controlled product use, efficient portable setup, detailed nail maintenance, and a calm service experience. It may be appropriate for residents with thickened or overgrown nails, limited mobility, sensitivity, or positioning needs, provided the resident passes screening and the condition remains within CNW’s lawful scope.
It does not include medical foot care, treatment of fungal nails, wound care, reduction of pathologic conditions, or cutting living tissue.
A standalone visual observation of the nails and surrounding skin. The assessment is used to document visible observations; help determine whether routine nail service appears appropriate; identify concerns that may require service modification, deferral, or referral; and communicate relevant non-diagnostic observations through the approved CNW process.
Additional comfort-focused hand or foot massage when appropriate.
Single-use moisturizing gloves added to an eligible hand service.
Available only when appropriate for the resident, permitted by the facility, and included within the selected service method.
Additional maintenance time where the nail condition remains within CNW’s training and lawful scope.
Conservative softening and filing only. CNW does not use razor-type callus shavers.
A non-medical moisturizing wrap for intact skin. Not provided over open, bleeding, inflamed, or otherwise compromised areas.
Adjustments to pace, communication, sound, touch, positioning, and product use based on resident tolerance.
Available where appropriate and selected in advance.
A limited service-status update may be provided to an authorized recipient in accordance with consent, privacy, facility, and CNW communication requirements.
CNW may modify, stop, defer, or decline a service when: consent is absent, withdrawn, unclear, or cannot be verified; the resident cannot safely participate; fungus is suspected; an open wound or sore is present; the skin or nail tissue appears inflamed, infected, broken, raised, or swollen; pain, bleeding, drainage, heat, severe redness, or another concerning condition is observed; the service area or environment is unsafe; or the requested service exceeds the technician’s training or lawful scope.
We use carefully selected professional products chosen specifically for aging, fragile, and sensitive skin. Every product must meet Core Nail Wellness’s internal Clean Product Standards before being introduced into resident care.
The Comfort Corner is a curated set of clean, non-clinical activity items placed in an approved shared common or activity area — a welcoming place for residents before, during, and after their wellness service. It is provided complimentary with every engagement. It is a waiting amenity, not a clinical service or a supervised activity program, and resident supervision remains with the facility.
A portable branded caddy of approved activities — coloring and large-print sheets, word searches, trivia and quote cards, wellness-education materials, and reusable card decks, dry-erase boards, and solo puzzle trays — suited to smaller or flexible common spaces.
The full placement adds a facility-provided table and seating to the Comfort Caddy materials, creating a more established waiting space in communities with room for it. Memory care is included where the unit has its own common or day room, with materials chosen for cognitive suitability.
Resident service pricing is provided after consultation. Facility payment arrangements, visit frequency, minimums, and optional enhancement services are established separately through the facility consultation and agreement process.
