Our approach

A different approach to nail care

Routine nail care can become difficult when a person experiences reduced mobility, arthritis, vision changes, sensory concerns, transportation barriers, or limited access to a suitable provider.

Core Nail Wellness brings licensed nail services directly into participating care communities. We are not a traditional salon, and we do not operate from a vehicle. We provide scheduled services on location using portable equipment, defined safety practices, resident screening, consent verification, and service documentation.

Our purpose is not trend-driven beauty. It is reliable care that supports comfort, confidence, personal dignity, and continued access to routine nail maintenance.

Care, not cosmetic

This is not routine maintenance. This is care.

Who we serve

Designed for aging adults and care environments

Core Nail Wellness partners with communities that want a dependable, professional approach to resident nail care.

Assisted living communities

Scheduled nail services designed around resident comfort, mobility, consent, and facility coordination.

Independent living communities

Convenient on-site access for residents who prefer not to travel to a conventional salon.

Memory care programs

Calm, sensory-aware services provided only when appropriate consent and resident participation requirements are met.

Skilled nursing & rehabilitation settings

Licensed nail services delivered within CNW’s non-medical scope and subject to facility approval and resident eligibility.

Adult care & group homes

Flexible programs for smaller residential settings requiring dependable service and clear communication.

Hospice-affiliated settings

Gentle, comfort-focused nail care coordinated with the facility and authorized responsible parties.

What we provide

Care-centered services for hands and feet

06

Core Hand & Foot Wellness Assessment

A standalone visual observation of the nails and surrounding skin to help determine whether routine nail service appears appropriate or whether referral should be recommended.

Core Nail Wellness provides licensed cosmetic-art nail services within the scope of North Carolina manicurist licensure. CNW does not diagnose, treat, manage, or claim to prevent medical conditions. Services may be modified, stopped, declined, or referred when the resident’s condition, consent, environment, or available authorization makes service inappropriate.

The Board’s rules prohibit treatment of medical conditions without physician referral and prohibit service where fungus, open wounds, sores, or inflamed, infected, broken, raised, or swollen skin or nail tissue are suspected in the service area.

Clean product standards

Clean Products. Thoughtfully Chosen.

Every product we use is evaluated through our internal Clean Product Standards—not because a label says “clean,” but because it meets our evidence-based requirements for safety, quality, and suitability for older adults.

For facilities

More than a visiting nail technician

A structured program

CNW uses defined onboarding, scheduling, screening, documentation, referral, communication, and quality-review processes.

Resident-centered service

Comfort, consent, dignity, and individual tolerance guide every appointment.

Clear scope boundaries

CNW provides licensed nail care—not podiatry, nursing, wound care, or medical treatment.

Documented safety practices

Hand hygiene, implement processing, single-use supply controls, surface disinfection, blood-exposure response, and service-refusal criteria are built into operations.

Reliable facility coordination

Each partnership establishes a facility contact, service schedule, resident-readiness process, payment arrangement, and communication pathway.

Responsible growth

CNW expands only when staffing, training, service quality, route efficiency, and operational capacity support it.

Partnership model

A partnership model that fits your community

Community Access Plan
Resident-paid

Residents or authorized payers purchase services directly. The facility supports approved access, scheduling coordination, and service space.

Sponsored Care Plan
Facility-funded

The facility or sponsoring organization purchases services directly under agreed scheduling, authorization, and billing terms.

Payment responsibility is separate from visit frequency. Facilities may begin with an introductory period, request an on-demand visit, or establish a recurring weekly, biweekly, monthly, or flex schedule.
